The event detail view has been completely redesigned with a cleaner layout, improved readability, and a modern look that highlights what matters most—your countdown.

Event Cover Images

Make each event feel personal.

You can now add cover images to any event, either from your photo library or using AI-generated artwork with Apple’s Image Playground. Create fun, unique visuals for vacations, birthdays, holidays, concerts, and anything else you might be counting down to.

Archive Events Without Losing Them

Instead of deleting old events, you can now archive them and revisit them anytime. Perfect for looking back on past trips, celebrations, and milestones.

Improved Tasks and Notes

Tasks and notes are now faster and easier to create and edit. Use them for packing lists, project steps, reminders, links, and more—everything stays organized right inside your event.

Spotlight Search Support

Find events instantly.

Search for any event directly from your Home Screen using Spotlight—no need to open the app.

Colorful New Widgets

Remainders 2.0 introduces updated full-color Home Screen widgets that look great in both Light and Dark Mode. They’re brighter, clearer, and more expressive.

We’ve also added a new Up Next Lock Screen widget, so you never miss the next event coming up.

Smarter Notifications

Event notifications are now time sensitive, making them more reliable and harder to miss.

You can also schedule multiple reminders before an event begins.

Looking for something specific?

You can now search your list of events right inside the app.

Calendar Import

Jump-start your setup by importing events directly from your Apple Calendar. No more typing in event details manually.

Event Links & URIs

You can now add website links to events—perfect for travel confirmations, ticket bookings, or venue info.

Every event also includes a URI you can paste into Notes, Messages, or anywhere else to quickly jump right to your event.

Personalized Countdowns (Years, Months, Weeks & More)

Remainders now supports extended countdown units—see the time remaining in years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
